why when you have a baby does everyone want to tell you what to do? everyone assumes thay know best! i want to scream she's my daughter i know whats best.arrggghh

i know exactly what you mean though.

ive decided its best for me and sophie if she goes into her own room. she's 9 weeks. i know its early but she's a really niosy sleeper moaning and grunting all the night.im not getting any sleep at all and struggling to manage during the day because of it. i have her monitor on but ive had a few comments about it being selfish from a family member. im really annoyed that somone close to me would think i would put myself first. i honestly believe its best for us both.

hun dont worry about it.i know they say you have to have ur child in the same room as you for the first 6 months but personally i think its near on impossible for most people!! we had to put jayme into his own room at 4 weeks old, purely because he was already getting too big for his basket, and there was no way we could fit a cot in our room (like most people!!) so long as they are comfy and you have a monitor then then whats the problem? you are still doing exactly the same as what you would if lo was in the same room as you, feeds etc...

i agree with misspink87, as long as u are both happy it shouldnt matter.
