I do this but my mum always says its stealing. My theory is until you've left the shshop its not stealing so what if you've already ate it. Apart from bits that are weighed I don't do that.

supermarkets know that people 'graze' their way through the shop. pretty much everyone does it i think!

I only do it if Ellie's going nuts for a snack right at that moment!! I always keep the wrapper to pay and I'd never do it with weighed items Smile

I do this aswel. Sophie loves them chicken satays u get from the deli counter an has usually munched her way through them before weve finished the shopping, i always keep the wrapper & pay for them. I dnt think the shops mind as long as u pay nothings ever been said to us at the tills..xx Smile

I don't do it myself, but think it's fine for kids to do - I don't think the shops mind as long as it's paid for... also, if it makes the shopping trip less stressful, then it has to be worth it!
